i've slacked off again on posting regularly. here is a photo from my show, that spanned from july 1st - 17th at the project lodge. maybe you were even able to see it! i haven't been doing much, mostly just been hanging out and working, and doing some small works. it feels strange to be preparing for my last year of college, at least undergrad. just a few days ago i was thinking about whether or not i'd stay for graduation this year, and then i remembered it was my graduation this time around! weeeeird.

how i feel today

if you're in or around madison, i will have three small pieces in a group show called "little things" at the project lodge. the show will be up from june 21st - 30th, with a reception from 6 - 8 on the 23rd. here's a link to the facebook event page, if you can make it. hope to see you there!

happy fathers' day to my dad, and all dads out there.

a few things lately...

-i ended my junior year of college, which is pretty mind-bending and awesome at the same time
-i'm back home in madison, wi for the summer, waitressing and learning to bartend
-my dad found me an awesome vintage schwinn bike off of craigslist, which is at least 20 years old, with all its original parts, and still ridable (pictured above)
-one of my sketchbook pages was posted on the Aqua-Velvet blog here
-i applied for a public art grant, so here's crossing your fingers!
-i'll be having a show at the project lodge here in the first two weeks of july

this is devastating.

here's a picture from critique today. we're all a little bit slack-jawed. mine went well i think. i've been terrible at updating this semester, but remember you can always keep up with my work by going to my flickr or my website. i'm almost finished with junior year. it feels great.
